This term we have been investigating aspects of Hinduism. With Mrs Johnson, the children looked at the story of The Great Banyan Tree and its importance within the religion as a supporter of life. (http://www.sanskritimagazine.com/indian-religions/hinduism/sanctity-banyan-tree-hinduism/). By copying intricate henna tattoo designs children coloured their own version of Mehndi hands.
