During our Daily Mile this week one of the children spotted a Hedgehog sheltering at the corner of the AstroTurf. Well, we couldn’t have just left it! Luckily, P5 being such a good-natured and flexible class made it their mission to rescue it. We decided to postpone our lesson in order to research how to care for a Hedgehog and make a home for it. We transported it safely to a quiet area behind the shed in the playground to allow it some peace. We named it ‘Astro’ to remember where we found it. What an interesting morning we had!
